All EDS Education Tutors are qualified and CRB verified Tutors whose background experience has been fully checked. We maintain a ratio of no more than four children to one member of staff. We also sometimes provide class room assistants in the form of A level GCSE students to aid our teachers to ensure every child has the support they need when they need it.
Simply contact us and we will arrange for your child’s assessment. From there we will discuss with you the best location and course for your child.
The free assessment allows us to assess our child to see what grade they are currently working at and find their areas of strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to formulate our EDS Action plan. This will also give you the opportunity to speak with the Head Tutors and see the centre for yourself in action.
Yes, we are aligned with the National Curriculum for the UK. All our Tutors are trained to teach using curriculum approved methods to ensure that the child has consistency with what they are learning at school. This does not however stop your child from excelling beyond and being challenged above the school level.
We will provide regular and compressive feedback about how your child is progressing with us. You can always speak to tutors after a session to find out how your child got on, or, you can always log into your online portal and access all notes and feedback on there 48 hours after the session.
48 hours prior notice has to be given if your child can not make a session. Unless of an emergency and a 48 hours’ notice has not been given, the session will be chargeable. If your child does not attend for 3 weeks in a row without proper notice, they will be removed and put back on the waiting list and the sessions will be chargeable.
