KS1 is an important time in your child’s education. Learning skills and techniques developed during this period will serve as foundations for everything your child will learn in the future.
Our programmes for KS1 enable students to grasp the most fundamental topics while simultaneously developing their ability and confidence. If a student exceeds the average level for their age group, we will work with them to prepare them for KS2.
To all of our KS1 students we offer personalised and targeted lessons. New ideas and topic are introduced in “bite-size” chunks to instil confidence, maintain enthusiasm for learning and prevent overload.
The new national curriculum for KS1 covers a wide range of topics in order to lay a solid basis for future education. Pupils learn the fundamentals of English language and mathematics – including grammar, comprehension – as well as the basics of mathematical reasoning and problem solving. All of our programmes are National Curriculum-compliant so as to offer adequate support to your child’s schoolwork. We encourage students to bring their homework to their tutoring lessons so they can receive support from our tutors.
Key Stage 2
Education Through Motivation and Inspiration
KS2 is another important step in your child’s education, as they will delve further into wide range of new material. It is also the stage when many students begin their preparations for 11 Plus tests during Years 4 and 5, while Year 6 students get ready for their SAT test and entering secondary school.
Our programmes for KS2 are designed to help students internalize the new knowledge, to foster confidence and to address any gaps or difficulties in their learning knowledge. We offer appropriate assistance for students seeking exam excellence and for those who simply want to improve their knowledge.
The new National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 is intending to provide a more in-depth perspective on the subjects covered and to put focus on reasoning and problem-solving skills. The curriculum cover, i.a.: spelling, grammar and punctuation in English; proportion, fractions, decimals and introduction to algebra in Mathematics. All of our programmes are National Curriculum-compliant so as to offer adequate support to your child’s schoolwork. Key Stage 3
Personalised Lessons Improve Self Confidence
KS3 encompasses first three years of secondary education. During this important, yet frequently overlooked period students set the pace for their GCSE-level education. With proper tutoring, your child can hone their skills and get ready for their GCSEs ahead of time, which gives them an opportunity for a more focused work during Years 10 and 11.
Our programmes for KS3 are designed to facilitate the understanding of the new learning content and help our students prepare for the new 9-1 GCSE exams.
The new national curriculum for Key Stage 3 is designed to extend students’ comprehension of the subjects beyond the primary school level and build preparedness for the GCSE exam that is essential for further academic and professional career.
